SafeMoon's liquidity pool was hacked, resulting in the loss of 27,000 BNB, worth $8.9 million. The vulnerability was caused by a public burn function introduced in the latest upgrade, which allowed the attacker to remove SFM tokens and sell them at an inflated price. SafeMoon has not yet commented on the issue. In another incident, Bitcoin ATM manufacturer General Bytes plans to reimburse customers who lost 56 BTC and 21.82 Ether in a recent hot wallet hack worth nearly $1.9 million.
