Web3 venture fund Press Start Capital and web3 gaming investment firm Sanctor Capital, have announced the opening of applications for the Multiplayer Fellowship, focusing on fully on-chain games (FOCG).

Startups are invited to apply for the 8-week pre-accelerator program, which offers a $50K SAFE/SAFT investment, mentorship from top minds in the industry, and a network of like-minded entrepreneurs.

Han Kao, CEO of Sanctor Capital said, “fully on-chain games represent the bleeding edge of gaming innovation, and have the best chance to unlock the full potential web3 technologies offer to the industry.”

The program does not charge founders an upfront program or advisory fee and provides free US company incorporation.

Early-stage founders often face a “valley of death” between the hackathon stage and acceptance into a leading accelerator program. The Multiplayer Fellowship aims to help startups overcome these challenges and create foundations for successful businesses.

Press Start Capital pioneered the pre-accelerator approach during the 2022 bear market. Half of their graduates went on to raise funds and/or join top accelerator programs, including Alliance DAO, a16z Crypto Startup School & SPEEDRUN, Binance Labs, and Y Combinator.

Since its inception in 2021, Sanctor Capital has focused on backing missionary founders. More than half of the graduates from their Turbo program have launched successful products, with one company being acquired by eBay. Sanctor Capital has backed over 60 early-stage teams through its venture arm.

Applications for the FOCG cohort are now open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Submit your application today, and take the first step towards receiving a $50K investment, expert mentorship, and the support you need to bring your ideas to life. The organizers commit to providing personalized feedback to each applicant to avoid the frustration of being ghosted after submitting an application.
