Cronos (CRO) has resumed operations after the completion of the mainnet v1.2 upgrade, designed to enhance the integration and process of decentralized applications (dApps).

And we are back! the upgrade was completed smoothly and all services are online. Thank you for your support :) https://t.co/rMPqcnrkCY

Further, the upgrade improves RPC functionality and developer backward compatibility. The network will use block.difficulty or block.prevrandao to maintain dApp backward compatibility.

Moreover, the RPC improvement introduces bug-fixing and the support for different EVM parameters.

Participants can use the currently operational Cronos explorer as the Cronoscan catches up.

Cronos enriches compatibility

Cronos is a Cosmos (ATOM) SDK-based EVM-compatible blockchain that leverages Ethermint. Its setup allows quick migration of smart contracts and applications from attuned networks such as Ethereum (ETH) to Cronos.

The blockchain employs a POA (proof-of-authority) mechanism, and participants use the CRO digital coin to pay for transactions.

Cronos finalized the Titan Upgrade recently, seeking to match its objectives with Ether compatibility.

Titan has landed!
The #Cronos Titan mainnet upgrade went smoothly and is now complete. Thank you to all #CROFam , developers and node operators who executed flawlessly as usual.

The update introduces notable changes within the ecosystem, especially for smart contracts depending on block.prevrandao or/and block.difficulty.

CRO price outlook

The altcoin traded at $0.1253 at press time, up 2.50% within the past day. Bullish ecosystem updates contribute to CRO’s upside stance.

CRO 1D Chart on Coinmarketcap

Cronos remains poised for continued bullishness in the upcoming sessions. Nevertheless, broad-market actions remain crucial in determining the altcoin’s directory trajectory.
