Russian educational organizations plan to improve the students’ literacy on the blockchain tech and cryptocurrency, and some are even considering educating businessmen and investors on fintech. One of the latest examples is Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, which lately announced the master class about the current fintech trends. Among the graduates of this university is Maxim Liksutov, current Moscow transport department head. The university holds the master class in cooperation with the Cube training club.

According to the University’s statements, this master class will consist of two parts – on cryptocurrency and on the blockchain. ICOs, their establishing, marketing and, for investors, risk assessment are also among the planned topics. The event is scheduled for 10th of October in Moscow, Stremyanny alley, 36, university building 4.

Other news about Russian fintech education are the recent proposal to include cryptocurrency topic in the state program of Russian residents’ financial literacy education (the proposal authors argue that otherwise the program is not going to be up-to-date) and the new school in Saint Petersburg where young and talented developers will design blockchain projects.
